Day Off

Not much to report today, being a day off and all. I explored the new mall downtown. I'm not a big mall goer and not a big shopper in general, but I thought that I should see what shops are there, just in case there are any surprises. But it's mostly the same old mall stuff - EXCEPT! It's missing some key elements, things that I think make a mall a mall. There was no Orange Julius, no Cinnabon, no Hot Topic, and I don't think I saw a Sunglass Hut. So it's not really a mall. But I got some nice photos. I'm not LDS, but the temple and assembly hall sure are beautiful to look at.

Then I walked around near the food court and saw this - which is a master of design - the gym right next to the diet wrecker known as The Cheesecake Factory

I mostly just hung around all day watching TV. I did go for a nice run and broke in the new shoes this morning, so I wasn't a total bum all day!
