The Last Day in the Production Studios

As of tomorrow, we move into the theater for good! Man, it's going to be great to start moving around on that set. Today we worked more with our veils and drapes, but really we need to get with the real things. We also worked on the quintet from Act I, and I totally didn't remember it. Oy, should have reviewed it more specifically than I did. But we worked out some things, and it continues to get more polished.

On our break, listened to some people talk shop. Always good for a laugh. Then one of the coaches brought in lunch from Crown Burger, and from then on, that's all I could think about. But in the meantime, I got some more shots of props and set pieces. First is the trunk where we find the magic flute and the magic bells.

Spike mark for the fruit basket. Ahem.

After a lovely visit to the gay coffee shop with my former boss, the director of education and outreach for the company, I gave in to the Crown Burger craving. It was pretty darn good. I'll have to have a nice long run tomorrow morning.

I got some nice photos of the surrounding mountains in the past couple of days, too. Man, I love this place.
